Anthony Louderback Named Veterans Affairs Manager at UC Clermont College

Anthony Louderback joins UC Clermont College as Program Manager of Veterans Affairs.  Louderback is a U.S. Army Veteran and served as a combat medic and military police officer.  While stationed in Texas, he was deployed to Kuwait and Afghanistan.

 

Louderback began his service to UC as a student worker in the Clifton Veterans Programs and Services Office and was hired full-time as a program coordinator in May 2013.  He brings a wealth of veteran certification knowledge and is skilled in assessment practices.  

 

“We are committed to serving the veterans in our community with this newly expanded position at Clermont College. Our goal is to assist veterans achieve their educational and academic endeavors. Having Anthony on campus full-time to assist veterans in this process will be instrumental,” said Dean Jeff Bauer.  

 

Louderback earned his bachelor of arts in organizational leadership from UC in May 2015 and is pursuing a Master of Business Administration from UC. He is currently the president for the University of Cincinnati Chapter of Omega Sigma Delta, a nationally recognized veteran fraternity aimed at providing veterans with a professional network of contacts and resources to help ease the transition from military to civilian life, while striving to help members reach the highest moral, intellectual and social excellence.

 

“I hope to bring new programming and veteran services, to include VetSuccess to UC Clermont’s campus. I will be seeking feedback from the student population to determine what they want to see as student veterans and dependents while at college. I hope to bridge the gap toward completion of a bachelor degree if there are remaining GI Bill benefits. I also want to develop employment and education workshops with the help of Kathy Grant from UC’s Clifton Campus Career Development Center, focused on military skills translation, resume writing and mock interviews,” said Louderback.

 

His awards include: Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal with M device, True Chapter Award – Omega Delta Sigma 2014, Nationally Engaged Leader Award, May 2015 and Eagle Scout.
