Annual Enrollment: Learn More About Discounted UC Health Co-Pays

UC employees will continue to receive a 50 percent office visit co-payment discount when seeing University of Cincinnati physicians. Additionally, your co-insurance responsibility for the PPO and HDHP plans will be 5 percent rather than 10 percent when receiving covered services from University of Cincinnati physicians and UC Health hospitals.

UC Health hospitals are UC Medical Center, West Chester Hospital, and the Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care – their affiliate institutes, centers of excellence, outpatient locations and laboratory services.

The co-pay reduction applies at the time of the visit. The co-insurance reduction will apply after the health plan’s deductible is met. Outpatient mental health services will not be reduced for co-payment or co-insurance and there is no co-payment reduction for emergency department services.  More information can be found

As a kid, at the age of 10, Marty Schiff’s dad gave him a Kodak Brownie movie camera, and that led to a lifetime of creating stories on film. He spent his summers with that camera, making eight-millimeter movies, with a camera that taught him how to thread a projector, change the film in a closet, and tell stories with the medium he loved. “I always wanted to go to Hollywood,” Schiff says. So later he did, with $200 in his pocket, and began a career that has spanned acting, directing, producing—pretty much everything with the exception of costumes (“I’m not really good with a sewing machine,” he says).
