Herman Honored by UC College of Medicine for Research Success

James Herman, PhD, professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, Donald C. Harrison Endowed Chair, director, UC Neurobiology Research Center, was honored by the university as a Distinguished Research Professor (STEMM) earlier this year. The College of Medicine will host a special event in his honor Thursday, June 23, from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in MSB E-351. A reception will follow.

UC students organize free health clinic in community

The University of Cincinnati student chapter of Remote Area Medical held its annual free health clinic July 11-12 at St. Xavier High School. Medical, dental and vision care was offered to adults and children, with no income requirements or insurance needed.
