UC Clermont Hosts Drug Facts Awareness Day - Jan. 25

UC Clermont College is hosting a Drug Awareness Day from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the Krueger Auditorium.

 

Ty Sells, director of Training for Youth to Youth International, will facilitate the discussion and lead teams in a friendly competition around drug facts. Lunch will be provided for students along with small group sessions where adults will listen to students’ ideas regarding drugs and alcohol.

 

The event is being sponsored by UC Clermont Advocate Network (UCCAN - a UC Clermont College Student Organization). UCCAN invites the Clermont Community to attend the presentation "'Clear the Air' the 7 most common myths about marijuana. Got your drug facts straight?"

UC Clermont is one of 12 schools in Ohio participating in this National Initiative to raise awareness and provide accurate information for youth regarding drugs and alcohol.

Queen City Clay on display at UC Clermont

Artists from Cincinnati-based Queen City Clay will display their work in a new exhibit, “Eighteen Years in Service,” April 1-June 27 in the University of Cincinnati Clermont College Art Gallery. The artists will also be on hand for a reception Friday, April 12, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. All UC Clermont Art Gallery events are free and open to the public.
