Hit the Ground Running with Communiversity
Communiversity instructor Jeannine Abele brings more than 28 years of business leadership experience to her students. She spent 17 years with the Proctor and Gamble Company and another 11 years at General Electric Aviation. She held key IT leadership positions at both companies supporting major business units and functions, including: Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Research/Development. Abele has managed large, global distributed teams and frequently traveled to Europe and Asia for business.
For eight years, Abele served on the Board for the INTERAlliance. This non-profit promotes IT careers for high school students providing them with internships and leadership development opportunities. Her wide variety of skills and leadership expertise makes Abele an excellent mentor for aspiring young adults.
In this two-hour course, Abele will review the importance of networking and how to build a
professional network; tips for running an effective meeting and how to
be a strong participant. She will also review how to dress for success: the difference
between business attire, business casual and casual Friday; and when to use
various communication tools: phone, text, email, and formal
presentations. Overall, you will learn how to exceed expectations!
