Volunteer for Summer Commencement, Convocation Ceremonies

Members of the University of Cincinnati community are encouraged to volunteer at the August Commencement ceremony celebrating the summer 2017 graduates.

The All-University Commencement ceremony will be held Saturday, Aug. 4, at the BB&T Arena at Northern Kentucky University. The ceremony time is to be announced.

Volunteers are asked to serve for a few hours at the ceremony. Responsibilities can include serving as guides, providing directions to campus guests, assisting individuals with limited mobility, assisting in lining up graduates to march, holding doors for processions and other important duties.

Anyone interested in volunteering need only fill out a brief

. Deadline to sign up is July 17.

Volunteers are also needed for the

New Student Convocation Ceremony

, which takes place at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 18, at Nippert Stadium, followed by the Family Picnic.
