UC Clermont Holds Info Session for Technical Bachelor s Degree
UC Clermont College will hold an information session for its Bachelor of Technical and Applied Studies (BTAS) program on Wednesday, May 2, in the Student Services Building, Room 200, from 4 to 7 p.m., at 4200 Clermont College Dr., Batavia, Ohio.
The information session will cover the admissions process, transferring credits and career opportunities and give students a chance to speak to an advisor. The $50 application fee will be waived for those who attend and apply at the session. The BTAS degree is geared toward those holding a technical associates degree an AAB, AAS or ATS and helps develop skills in leadership, communication and supervision, while preparing graduates for upward career mobility. More than 300 graduates have completed the program since it launched in 2011.
The BTAS program offers those who have earned technical associates degrees the opportunity to take their education and credentials to the next level right here at UC Clermont, said Recruiter Kathie Cooper. In many industries and organizations, a bachelors degree can open even more doors as a professional or manager.
The flexible two-year program requires 20 classes (60 semester credits) and includes courses in areas such as team building, financial information for managers, workplace laws and ethics, and diversity in professional settings. Day, evening and online classes are available, and students can enroll full or part time to accommodate full-time work and other responsibilities.
Individual appointments are also available. For more information or to RSVP, call 513-558-6197, email
