Partners Card Program Supports Cincinnati Cancer Research

The

UC Cancer Center

and Cincinnati Magazine have collaborated to create Partners Card, a new fundraising program that supports local cancer research efforts while also giving shoppers a hefty discount at local businesses.

One hundred percent of proceeds from the card sales benefit cancer research conducted at the UC Cancer Center.

Individual shoppers purchase a Partners Card shopping pass for $50. The card entitles shoppers to a 20 percent discount on purchases made between Saturday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 6, at more than 150 merchants in the Hyde Park, O’Bryonville, Clifton and other Cincinnati neighborhoods.

In addition, the shopper will receive a free, one-year subscription to Cincinnati Magazine.

“Our scientists and cancer specialists are among the most talented in their field, and they’re not just delivering the best treatments—they are developing them,” said Jack Gluckman, MD, director of the UC Cancer Center. “Partners Card is an easy, quick way for the UC family—and the community—to support important cancer research being conducted right here in Cincinnati.”

Cards can be purchased online at

http://giveto.uc.edu/partnerscard

or at the UC MainStreet Connection Center in Tangeman Hall on the West Campus. For a full list of vendors, visit

www.cincinnatimagazine.com

or call Rachel Whisner of the UC Cancer Center at (513) 558-8624.

Partners Card is made possible with support from Cinco Credit Union, Cincinnati Magazine, WCPO, Basco Franklin Savings and Ulmer & Berne.
