Cancer Survivors Cruise Ohio River June 4
The trip from Covington Landing aboard BB Riverboats Belle of Cincinnati will be two hours of entertainmentplus food, complimentary photos and prizes in celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day.
The event underscores that with early detection and treatment, cancer is survivable, says planning co-chair Patricia Schoenung, of Jewish Hospital.
There is life after cancer, says Linda Karr, development director for the UC Cancer Center, and its an inspiration to see the hundreds of survivors who come the first Sunday in June each year to celebrate another year of life.

Registration is required for the cruise. Adult cancer survivor may bring one guest; children may bring two. The cost is $10 per person.
