Diabetes Center Hosting Pre-diabetes Education Series
CINCINNATIAre you at risk for diabetes? Do you have a family history of the disease?
If so, or if your physician has already diagnosed you with pre-diabetes, then join the Diabetes Center, part of UC Physicians, for a two-class series on pre-diabetes management.
A UC nutritionist and graduate student intern from UCs College of Allied Health Sciences will be on hand to discuss diabetes and answer questions about healthy lifestyle goals, weight management and metabolic syndrome.
The series begins Monday, May 4, 2009, and will conclude Monday, June 1, 2009. Morning or afternoon sessions are available. Each session is three hours long and will be held at the Diabetes Center, 3120 Burnet Ave., Suite 306.
Cost is $5 per person, per session, and includes all handouts and parking. No insurance is required. No referrals are needed.
