Water Pipe Break Causes Damage in Wherry Hall
A chilled water pipe broke in the air handling unit on the roof of Wherry Hall this morning (Thursday, July 21), Maintenance & Operations reported. The incident caused substantial water damage to the third floor and some damage to the second floor.
Maintenance & Operations repaired the pipe and restored chilled water to the air handler, which will help temperature control.
A restoration company is on site. It is not known how long it will be necessary to keep the affected third-floor offices vacant.
If you have questions, call Ken Bloomer, Maintenance & Operations director, at (513) 556-0605.
