Cardiovascular Translational Research Day Oct. 11
The UC Cardiovascular Center of Excellence is holding a Translational Research Day, titled "Bridging the Lab and the Clinic," on Tuesday, Oct. 11. The goal of the event is to relate basic science research being done in the center with clinical needs and to encourage interaction between clinicians and basic scientists in the field.
The event will include three main information sessions, highlighting various cardiovascular-related translational research projects. The afternoon will begin with a boxed lunch at noon in Medical Sciences Building Room E-351. The following presentations will occur through out the afternoon:
12:00-12:15 p.m.: Building a World-Class Cardiovascular Center at UC: Partnering the Basic Science and Clinical Missions

12:15-2:10 p.m.: Heart Failure: Clinical Management and Experimental Basis
