UC Pharmacy Students Celebrate Profession, Score High on Exams
In recognition of American Pharmacists Month and American Pharmacy Educator Week Oct. 23-28, faculty from the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy held a seminar Tuesday, Oct. 25, to share the reasons to choose academics as a career path with pharmacy students. After the seminar, the students were treated to pizza and took advantage of the fall weather outside of Wherry Hall.
Another reason to cheer the UC pharmacy program
UCs 2011 graduates who took both the North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) and the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MJPE) had a 100 percent pass rate. Eighty-two graduates took the exam. UC graduates average scores were higher than the state and national average.
