Nursing Alumna Named CEO of Illinois Medical Center
College of Nursing alumna Pamela Mages Bell has been named CEO of Holy Family Medical Center in Des Plaines, Ill.
Prior to this announcement, Bell served as the interim CEO at Holy Family and held several leadership positions there, including vice president of professional services and director of provider relations.
Holy Family Medical Center was founded in 1961 and is a faith-based, Long-Term Acute Care Hospital in Illinois, specializing in providing care for patients who are critically ill with complex conditions and who must be hospitalized for an extended period of time.
Bell holds an MBA from National Louis University in Chicago (09) and enters this position with over 20 years of progressive business and clinical experience in the health care industry. She earned her BSN at the University of Cincinnati (02) and earned her associate of applied science in nursing technology at UCs Blue Ash College (93).
Bell is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association of Long Term Hospitals.
