Kotb Appointed to Laboratory Animal Research Council

Malak Kotb, PhD, a professor in the department of molecular genetics, biochemistry and microbiology, has been appointed to the Advisory Board and Council of the National Academy of Science, Institute of Laboratory Animal Research (ILAR).

The ILAR Council meets for two days twice per year. Kotb previously served on the academy’s advisory panel on Animal Models for Assessing Countermeasures to Bioterrorism Agents.
