Inquiring medical minds are enrolling in Mini Medical College, which takes place on four Wednesday evenings in October 2012.

While Mini Med grads don’t come out with a medical degree, they do come out with a better understanding of what it’s like to be a medical student, also familiarizing themselves with current health topics. The lectures, taught by expert UC physician faculty, include:

• Real life in the emergency department
• How our brain impacts our weight
• Complementary and integrative medicine
• Robotics in surgery

Classes begin Oct. 3 and continue through Oct. 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., on the UC medical campus. Two topics are presented each evening, with a complete listing available online.
