RSVP Today for Medical Student Research Program Symposium and Banquet
Faculty interested in attending the 2012 Medical Student Summer Research Program Fall Symposium and Awards Banquet, on Friday, Oct. 5, need to RSVP today.
The day begins with student poster presentations from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the CARE/Crawley atrium, with a keynote address to follow from 5-6 p.m. in the Medical Sciences Building, in room E-351. The keynote speaker is Linda Book, MD, the chief of pediatric gastroenterology at Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.
A banquet and awards presentation will follow from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Kingsgate Conference Center. Registration for the banquet today is required to determine food preparation. If attending, please RSVP to Theresa Kenney at 513-803-2611 or

University of Cincinnati researchers have been approved for funding by the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) to expand the implementation of healthy lifestyle interventions and metformin prescription to help manage weight gain in overweight or obese youth taking second-generation antipsychotic medications.
