HSGA Named Graduate Student Group of the Year

The Health Sciences Graduate Association (HSGA) was named "Group of the Year” by the UC Graduate Student Governance Association. This award is given to the group that best exemplifies outstanding service to its constituents and a high standard of contribution to the UC and college community.

This year, the HSGA helped to organize and plan the Graduate Student Research Forum. The association also planned social activities, academic events and community outreach programs throughout the year, including participating in the national fundraiser, "Share Our Strength,” held to combat childhood hunger in America.
