UC Health Integrative Medicine Services Official Launch
UC Healths Integrative Medicine services are officially being launched at a reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 23, at the UC Health Womens Center (UC Health Physicians Office South), 7675 Wellness Way, Suite 400, West Chester.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will include remarks from Thomas Boat, MD, dean of UCs College of Medicine; Sian Cotton, PhD, director of integrative medicine at UC and UC Health; and special guest Benjamin Kligler, MD, chair of the Consortium of Academic Health Centers for Integrative Medicine and vice-chair of the department of integrative medicine at New Yorks Beth Israel Medical Center.
Free mini acupuncture, chair massages, light refreshments and tours will be offered.
Outpatient services available to both men and women at the West Chester location include integrative physician consults with Stefanie Stevenson, MD, acupuncture, massage, mindfulness groups, reflexology, therapeutic yoga and Pilates, Tai Chi and Medical QiGong. No referral is needed for any of these services, and most insurance plans are accepted for physician visits.
