State Senators Faber and Jones Visit College of Nursing
On Monday, April 29, Ohio State Senate President Keith Faber (District 12) and Senator Shannon Jones (District 7) visited the Univerity of Cincinnatis College of Nursing to learn more about the colleges online learning programs and telehealth innovations.
At Procter Hall, in the colleges Intraprofessional Innovation Collaboratory, Fabor and Jones took part in an online course demonstration through iPad technology and then viewed an emergency trauma simulation put on by college of nursing students.
They also had the opportunity to test drive "Flo-Botone of two telehelath robots in the college.
The UC College of Nursing, one of four colleges in UCs Academic Health Center, currently enrolls over 2,700 students in nursing programs that include RN to BSN, BSN, MSN, DNP and PhD, as well as a Post-Graduate Certificate in Nursing Education and Post-MSN Certificates.
