Construction Walls Going Up on Levels 3-4

Construction barrier walls for Levels 3 and 4 of the Medical Sciences Building (MSB) will go up next week beginning Monday, July 29. The walls will allow construction access to the MSB Rehabilitation project Phase IV area while also maintaining access to other areas of the MSB.

Starting at 8 p.m. Monday, walls will go up along the MSB’s east/west corridor (intersecting with the main corridor, which runs north/south) from Room 4352 to a point adjacent to Room 4060 The wall will divide the existing corridor in half to allow access to the labs and offices that were part of Phase II (northeast quadrant) and are now occupied. All work in this area will be done by 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, the east/west corridor to the Level 4 CARE/Crawley Atrium bridge will have barrier walls installed in it from Room 4001 west to the bridge connector entrance. Access will still be available for this corridor between CARE/Crawley and the MSB, but with reduced width. All work in this area will be done by 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, walls will go up along the MSB’s east/west corridor (intersecting with the main corridor, which runs north/south) from Room 3351 to a point across from Room 3059. The wall will divide the existing corridor in half to allow access to the labs and offices that were part of Phase II (northeast quadrant) and are now occupied. All work in this area will be done by 6 a.m. Thursday.

Starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, the east/west corridor to the Level 3 CARE/Crawley Atrium bridge will have barrier walls installed in it from Room 3001 west to the bridge connector entrance. Access will still be available for this corridor between CARE/Crawley and the MSB, but with reduced width. All work in this area will be done by 6 a.m. Friday.
