A Message From Dean Neil MacKinnon, PhD
Greetings alumni and friends of the Winkle College of Pharmacy,
I would like to welcome you to the first issue of Cincinnati Pharmacy, the new electronic newsletter of the James L Winkle College of Pharmacy. It is our hope that this newsletter will build upon the former newsletter Scripts and will contain stories of interest to you, which you will want to read and share with others. In this quarterly newsletter, you will find stories about our faculty, students, staff, alumni and other friends of the College.
In the time since I joined the College last August, I have been constantly amazed and impressed by all of the great things happening at the College and I hope that Cincinnati Pharmacy will convey these things to you so that you might feel connected to us.
I would also like to thank Angela Koenig for her leadership in putting this newsletter together. You can reach her at
if you have ideas for stories for future issues or if you would like to provide feedback on this first issue of Cincinnati Pharmacy. We have plans for a gradual roll-out of all the features of this newsletter, however, we would welcome your feedback at any time. If you are an alumni or friend of the College and you are doing something innovative in your practice or workplace, we would love to hear from you.
Cincinnati Pharmacy is one piece of our broader effort to enhance the visibility of the Winkle College of Pharmacy. A redesigned website, soon to be launched, will be another key piece of our plan for increased visibility. Also, if you are not doing so already, please follow me on Twitter @RxDeanMac so you can keep up to date with all the activities at the College.
Go Bearcats!
