Clinical Trial Spotlight: Asthma Research Study
Researchers are conducting a study to test the safety of a type of asthma medication called formoterol, a component of Symbicort, when it is taken in combination with inhaled corticosteroids to find out if the addition of an inhaled corticosteroid, such as budesonide, reduces the increased risk of asthma-related hospitalizations and death from formoterol.
They are looking for adolescents and adults, aged 12 years and older, who have been diagnosed with asthma. Participants will be compensated for study-related time and travel.
