Free 'Conquering Depression' Symposium Set for Saturday, Nov. 15
The Mood Disorders Center at the UC Neuroscience Institute will present a free symposium on depression from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Conference Center at Drake on the campus of the Daniel Drake Center for Post-Acute Care.
"Conquering Depression: Different Approaches for All Ages is for anyone who has suffered from depression and for their family members and friends. The afternoons agenda will include presentations by faculty members from the UC Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience. In addition, Carol Williams, news anchor at WCPO-TV, Channel 9, will speak on "Reporting When Nobody Wants to Talk.
