Biomedical Research Day Jan. 6

Biomedical Research Day will be held from 10:45 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in the CARE/Crawley Building and the UC Medical Sciences Building. 

The event is targeting undergraduate students who may be interested in exploring biomedical research opportunities at the University of Cincinnati. 

A morning graduate fair will feature current students and representatives of the UC College of Medicine and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center graduate programs who will be available to talk about their programs and answer questions. There will also be opportunities to learn about the Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Program, and David Plas, PhD, associate professor in the department of cancer biology, will present "New Opportunities in Biomedical Science from the Perspective of Cancer Research.”
