Tai Chi, Yoga Offered at Let s Move! UC Event April 3
The UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness will host a booth at the upcoming Lets Move! UC Health and Wellness Fair, Friday, April 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the University of Cincinnatis Campus Green lawn. UC Health Integrative Medicine providers will staff the booth and offer classes in Tai Chi (9:45 to 10:30 a.m.) and Yoga (12:45 to 1:30 p.m.).
The Lets Move! UC wellness event is part of First Lady Michelle Obamas national campaign to end childhood obesity.
The UC Center for Integrative Health and Wellness promotes integrative medicine principles at the UC Academic Health Center and throughout the community. The center, directed by Sian Cotton, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, conducts research, education and community outreach activities and is represented clinically by UC Health Integrative Medicine.
