Justin Held, MD, Named Interim Director of Hospital Medicine Program
Justin Held, MD, has been named Interim Director of the Hospital Medicine Program in the Department of Internal Medicines Division of General Internal Medicine. Dr. Held obtained his undergraduate training in biology at Xavier University in Cincinnati. He obtained his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2008, and subsequently completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at UC Medical Center. He went on to become a chief medical resident and a faculty member for the Department of Internal Medicine in 2011. He joined the Division of General Internal Medicine as faculty in the Hospital Medicine Program in 2012, and quickly became the associate director of the section of Hospital Medicine. Held is also an associate program director for the Department of Internal Medicines Residency Program and is currently an assistant professor in the UC College of Medicine.
