Nominate a Nurse for a Nightingale Award
CINCINNATIThe University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Nursing is now accepting nominations for the 24th annual Florence Nightingale Awards for Excellence in Nursing. The nomination deadline is Sunday, Feb. 28.
Awards will recognize registered nurses who demonstrate excellence in providing direct patient care. Nominations are accepted from patients, family and friends of patients, colleagues, physicians and other healthcare workers. Nurses previously nominated may be re-nominated for this award.
Final selection of award recipients will be made by a committee of the UC College of Nursing Board of Advisors. Winners and nominees will be recognized at the 2016 Florence Nightingale Awards, which will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati.
Proceeds from the event will support scholarships for undergraduate students at UC College of Nursing.
