Football 101 Raises Money for Breast Cancer
UC Athletics Football 101, an evening aimed toward women to teach the basics of football and raise money for the UC Cancer Institutes Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center and the UC Athletics Women's Excellence Fund, is being held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 14, at Nippert Stadiums Carson Field.
Former UC quarterback Tony Pike will be the master of ceremonies for the event, which will also include a silent auction, food by Panera catering, a photo booth and more. Each participant will receive an Under Armour tote bag and T-shirt and behind-the-scenes tours of the new Nippert Stadium.

Coach Tommy Tuberville and other UC coaches will be leading drills for participants, and Suzanne Tuberville, coach Tubervilles wife, whose mother passed away from breast cancer while she was a senior in college, will also be at the event.
Registration costs $80 in advance and $100 at the door; UC and UC Health employees are being offered a discount.
