Lot 13 Closing as Part of Medical Campus Master Plan
Starting Monday, August 1, 2016, Lot 13, the parking lot adjacent to the Kettering Lab and the Radiation Safety Offices, will be permanently closed. This work is part of the Medical Plan Master Campus Sequence that includes the renovation of Kowalewski Hall and the Kehoe G26 classroom, the removal of Wherry Hall and the Radiation Safety Offices and the construction of the Health Sciences Building.
This project, which began in the spring of 2015 and is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2018, is being carried out in several segments. Throughout the course of the various segments, pedestrian walkways will be maintained to allow access to Kowalewski Hall, Wherry Hall, the Kettering Lab Complex and Eden Garage. Pedestrians are urged to use caution and follow signage when walking through these areas.
People impacted by the elimination of Lot 13 have been notified.
