UC Neurobiology Research Grant Program Open Until Sept. 30

The 2016-2017 UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute’s Neurobiology Research Center Pilot Research Project program is accepting new proposals. This program is designed to support pilot and feasibility projects that identify clear paths toward extramural applications and funding of neuroscience-related research. 

Although a clear neuroscience focus is required, this competition is open to all UC faculty as well as residents, clinical fellows and post-doctoral fellows. You do not need to be a member of the neuroscience training program or the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute to apply. The program will consider basic, translational and clinical projects and encourages submission of collaborative projects. 

Letters of intent are required by Sept. 30, 2016.  Full proposals will be due Nov. 15, 2016. Questions regarding guidelines can directed to James Herman, james.herman@uc.edu, or Jennifer Bedel, bedelj@ucmail.uc.edu.
