Karen Bankston to Moderate Healthcare Businesswomen s Association Event

Karen Bankston, PhD, associate dean for clinical practice, partnership and community engagement for the University of Cincinnati (UC) College of Nursing, will serve as the moderator of an event hosted by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Ohio on Monday, Oct. 24, 2016. "Unsticking the Floor—Healthcare Leaders Creating Inclusive Corporate Cultures” will be held at the Cooper Creek Event Center in Blue Ash, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

This HBA Ohio event is designed for attendees to identify strategies to help create an inclusive corporate culture as well as discussing current gender bias statistics and trends and how they affect the health care industry.

In addition to Bankston serving as the moderator, featured speakers include Penelope Bucknell, vice president of human resources and chief people officer, Medpace; Carolyn Craig, adjunct instructor, UC Carl H. Lindner College of Business; Gail Donovan, chief operations officer, TriHealth; Stephanie Muir, vice president of research and development, Ethicon; and Marijke Woodruff, vice president of human resources and chief people officer, Health Carousel.

Tickets are $50 for HBA members until Oct. 14, $60 after Oct. 14. Guests can purchase tickets for $75 until Oct. 14 and $90 after Oct. 14. Attendees can register for the event here
