Tranter Named 2017 Research Rising Star in College of Medicine

Michael Tranter, PhD, assistant professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease, has been chosen for the 2017 Research Rising Star Award in the College of Medicine. Tranter completed his PhD in Molecular, Cellular and Biochemical Pharmacology at the University of Cincinnati in 2010 along with a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in UC’s Department of Pharmacology and Cell Biophysics. He was retained as a faculty member in the Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease in 2012.
