Shaimaa Ibrahim, a visiting Fulbright scholar from Egypt, relies on some pretty solid role models as she charts her career path. A doctoral student in pharmacology and cell biology at UC, watched her siblings triumphs and challenges in the field of medicine before deciding she too had a passion for science.
