Academic Health Center Hosts National Implicit Bias Expert
The University of Cincinnati (UC) Academic Health Center is hosting Benjamin Reese Jr., PsyD, for a training session, "Mitigating Implicit Bias in Interprofessional Health Education on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. The session will be held at Procter Hall, 3110 Vine Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and includes lunch.
Reese, a clinical psychologist and vice president for Institutional Equity at Duke University and Duke University Health System, is an internationally renowned scholar on implicit bias. He will facilitate four separate sessions on implicit bias training and managing implicit bias in teaching, admissions and mentoring.
