Second chances are often golden opportunities to improve one's self.
For Steve Roberto, discovering in his 50s that he had been living with hepatitis C for decades was the beginning of a series of health challenges, but ultimately, he would get a unique chance to hit the reset button on life.
Cured of his hepatitis C after three years, he would still eventually need a liver transplant. Roberto was referred to UC Health, the only liver transplant program in the region.
