Neuroscience Research Keynote to Address Environment and Autism Risk

Tuesday, April 17 is Neuroscience Research Day, presented in partnership with the UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute and the UC Neurobiology Research Center. Events begin at 8:30 a.m. in the CARE/Crawley atrium with a display of more than 60 posters. Neuroscience Research Day is an opportunity for researchers to highlight and share their work with other members of the neuroscience community at UC.

11:15 am. Break and lunch in MSB 5051

11:30 a.m. Keynote "Environmental Exposures and Autism Risk: Narrowing the Knowledge Gaps" presented by speaker Craig Newschaffer, PhD, Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University and founding director of the A.J. Drexel Autism Institute. MSB 5051

12:30 p.m. Awards ceremony for the top abstracts in MSB 5051

1 p.m. closing remarks by Dan Woo, MD, professor and vice chair of clinical research for the Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine, and James Herman, PhD, Donald C. Harrison Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience and director, UC Neurobiology Research Center.

This event is presented in conjunction with the Center for Clinical and Translational Science and training (CCTST) Grand Rounds.
