Latif Participating in LLS Fundraising Campaign

Tahir Latif, MD, professor in the Division of Hematology Oncology, has been selected by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) as a candidate for the Man and Woman of the Year philanthropic competition, supporting blood cancer research.

 

The man and woman who raise the most funds during the 10-week campaign are each named the Man/Woman of the Year for their community. The man and woman who raise the most across the entire United States will be recognized as the National Man and Woman of the year.

 

Money raised not only supports LLS research, also but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education and community services as well.

The deadline to donate is Saturday, May 19.
