UC Designers Outpace the World in International Competition

From Australia to Venezuela, young designers by the hundreds entered the prestigious student design competition annually sponsored by "I.D., The International Design Magazine." Results are out in the just-released issue of "I.D.", and UC won three out of 23 awards given. That s more than any other school around the globe except for New York s Pratt Institute, which also has three winners.

UCit Has Updated Bearcat Online E-Mail System Up And Running

UC students will start the new year with an upgrade in their e-mail services, following the introduction this month by UCit of a new software system for Bearcat Online accounts that offers greater flexibility and performance, along with improved security.

WISE Program Supports Young Women in Science

A UC summer research program had 19 young women working side by side with UC's leading scientists and engineers.The young researchers will share their research findings in a special presentation 12:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11.
