UC salutes military with Veterans Day ceremony
The University of Cincinnati's Veterans Programs and Services and Army, Air Force ROTC detachments honor veterans of past and present
Veterans from all branches of the U.S. military were honored Friday at the University of Cincinnati's annual ceremony held in acknowledgement of Veterans Day.
In past years, UC had been lucky to have good weather the day of the Veterans Day ceremony, which has traditionally been held on McMicken Commons. But because of rainy weather conditions, the ceremony was moved inside of Tangeman University Center. The TUC Atrium proved to be a fine venue for the celebration of service members.
Veterans Day takes place Sunday, Nov. 11, the centennial anniversary of the armistice that ended the first World War, which officially ended at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.

Now, as Medscape recently reported, novel clinical recommendations, advanced diagnostic tools and research into inflammation and immune responses, are bringing promise that women with endometriosis will find relief sooner and without surgery, according to experts, including Katie Burns, PhD, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine associate professor.
