Freddy's to sponsor UC Clermont athletics
The burger chain offers support, new fan experiences for Cougar home games
UC Clermont College is pleased to announce a three-year athletic sponsorship deal with Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers.
Freddy’s, a national chain with Clermont County locations in Amelia and Milford, will provide financial support for athletic operations and home-game experience enhancements, such as fan halftime contests for free Freddy’s gift cards, custard and food offerings at the UC Clermont concession stand, and free meals for Cougar players following winning home games — when the Amelia restaurant will also stay open late to celebrate with the community.
Freddy’s will also have a presence at campus events such as the college’s Spring Fling and Fall Fest and will offer coupons for free meals to students who make the Dean’s List each semester.
“Supporting local schools, students and the community is an integral part of who Freddy’s is and what we do. We have two great stores minutes away from the campus and developing a partnership with the Cougars seemed to be a perfect fit,” said Carol Kalwa, community coordinator for Freddy’s. “The Cougars offer many student activities that allow us to showcase our great food and to reward academic performance with specific nights at Freddy’s. We feel this will be a wonderful community sponsorship and look forward to the next few years.”
