The students, along with faculty sponsor, Amanda Lynch, presented three posters at the conference highlighting projects conducted in the 2015-2016 school year and recent accomplishments of the chapter. Travel was supported by the School of Human Services.

During the conference, the Gamma Eta chapter was presented with the Chapter Excellence award for their accomplishments in the 2015 - 2016 academic year. This award is the highest honor given to a chapter from the Eta Sigma Gamma organization. The chapter was also recognized with the Research Activity of the Year award for its “Healthy Eating on a Budget” campaign and panel discussion held in the spring semester of 2016.
