During the conference, the Gamma Eta chapter was presented with the Chapter Excellence award for their accomplishments in the 2015 - 2016 academic year. This award is the highest honor given to a chapter from the Eta Sigma Gamma organization. The chapter was also recognized with the Research Activity of the Year award for its “Healthy Eating on a Budget” campaign and panel discussion held in the spring semester of 2016.
