'Walking' toward their future - time for spring commencement
More than 300 new graduates from UC Blue Ash College will participate in the 2019 Spring Commencement, bringing with them an impressive list of accomplishments
More than 300 UC Blue Ash students are getting ready to ‘walk’ as part of the University of Cincinnati’s 2019 Spring Commencement. The special ceremony is right around the corner and the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College would like to thank all of the dedicated students, faculty and staff members for another spectacular school year.
With an average cumulative GPA of 3.28 and 339 applicants, this year’s graduates accomplished a lot. There will be 304 students graduating with a UCBA Associate degree, 19 with a UCBA Baccalaureate degree and 16 with a UCBA certificate.
Among the 50-plus degree and certificate programs that are offered by UC Blue Ash, Nursing Technology, Dental Hygiene Technology and Veterinary Technology boasted the highest percentage of graduates.
New graduate Johanna Schoster earned her associate degree in Pre-Early Childhood Education from UC Blue Ash College.
“I am continuing my education at UC [Uptown] and plan to get my BA [Bachelor of Arts] in psychology,” says Schoster. She notes that one thing she’ll miss most about UC Blue Ash College is the small class sizes.
UC Blue Ash students will partake in the 2019 Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 4 at 9 a.m. in the Fifth Third Arena at the University of Cincinnati Uptown campus. Doors will open at 8 a.m.
