EnableUC uses 3-D printing to change another life, a 4-year-old girl from New York

Alice Kurylo, 4, shared a beautiful moment with her soon-to-be stepfather thanks to students from the University of Cincinnati.

EnableUC, a student-led nonprofit of mostly College of Engineering and Applied Science students, printed yet another prosthetic hand for a young child. 

Alice lives in New York, and her life is now vastly different thanks to their work.

He came to UC as a master's student and after two years, transitioned to a direct PhD program in materials science and engineering.
