EnableUC uses 3-D printing to change another life, a 4-year-old girl from New York

Alice Kurylo, 4, shared a beautiful moment with her soon-to-be stepfather thanks to students from the University of Cincinnati.

EnableUC, a student-led nonprofit of mostly College of Engineering and Applied Science students, printed yet another prosthetic hand for a young child. 

Alice lives in New York, and her life is now vastly different thanks to their work.

The University of Cincinnati first-year geography major in the College of Arts & Sciences and member of the second cohort of Hoffman Honors Scholars (HHS) has hit the ground running, designing a research project intended to capture both how public transit works and how its users perceive it.
