Local Information: Aug. 13, 2019

On Aug. 13, at about 7:40 p.m., police responded to a residence on the 2000 block of Ravine Street for a report of a robbery. A UC student and the student's friend were sitting on the back porch when a suspect walked up to them and started talking to them. The suspect asked about who lived in the residence and the student told the suspect that the owner was not home. The suspect left, then returned about 20 minutes later. He spoke to the student and the student's friend for a few more minutes before a second suspect ran onto the back porch with a shotgun, yelling at the student and the student's friend for their wallets. The victims also had cell phones and a computer on the table, all of which were taken.
