Goering Center news

Inspired storytellers wanted

By Lisa Jonas

Can you inspire people? Would you like to share your valuable expertise with Goering Center members and other leaders from the business community? Your opportunity could be Oct. 8, 2020, at the second-annual Lift! event.

The Goering Center has a 10-year vision to make Greater Cincinnati an economic benchmark region. The Lift! series was developed to showcase local thought leaders who are helping us make that happen. If you share our vision, it’s time to get involved.

The series launched in October 2019. Featured speakers covered everything from hiring trends and organizational design, to communicating effectively and achieving game-changing growth. Check out last year’s videos on our YouTube channel.

This year, speakers will be challenged to “lift” our audience of regional business owners — financially, strategically and intellectually, but also spiritually and emotionally. While most any business topic will be considered, we encourage potential speakers to think about the people who are striving to build great organizations. How can we elevate their vision — their humanity — so they can lead our region into a new era of economic strength?

Call for speakers: ready to roll
