E-media student wins national “student journalist of the year” award for work with PBS

University of Cincinnati sophomore Mary Williams keeps her PBS Student Journalist of the Year award stashed in its original box in her dorm room. She takes it out for special occasions.

“I want to keep it safe,” she told WCPO’s Kristyn Hartman. “My name on that award represents the people who helped me and my whole community.”

Discovery Amplified expands research, teaching support across A&S

This initiative was launched through the Dean’s Office in August 2024, and is expanding its role as a central hub for scholarly activity and research support within the Arts & Sciences (A&S) community.
