Allied Health faculty nominated as a 'remarkable woman'

Pat Tille directs UC medical lab sciences MS program from her South Dakota home

Pat Tille of the University of Cincinnati College of Allied Health Sciences was nominated as a "remarkable woman" by KELO-TV in her hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The TV station chose her as one of four finalists from a group of women nominated by viewers.

Tille, who spent eight years on the Sioux Falls Police Department as only the second female police officer on the force, was cited for her work as a microbiologist. That work includes serving as the chair of the National Microbiology Advisory committee, a subsidiary of the World Health organization.

From her home in Sioux Falls, Tille serves as the director of the new medical lab sciences MS program which hopes to launch classes in January 2021.
