UC Clermont to hold displaced worker webinar June 4
Virtual event offered in partnership with OhioMeansJobs
UC Clermont College and OhioMeansJobs will offer a free webinar for displaced Ohio workers Thursday, June 4 at 3 p.m.
The webinar is geared toward those who are recently unemployed, looking for new careers or underemployed and will provide information about funding available for those who qualify under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The funding can be used for approved UC Clermont College courses; full list available at https://ucclermont.edu/students/careers/workforce-training.html.

OhioMeansJobs centers assist job seekers, employers and youth with job search assistance, employee recruitment and job training.

In 2025 the Ohio Reach Postsecondary designation was awarded to UC's College of Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, and Information Technology (CECH) as part of the program's third cohort. In November 2022, a small Día de los Muertos altar appeared inside the library at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College. It was Assistant Professor Stephanie Alcantar’s second year teaching Spanish at the college, and she was eager to share a piece of her Mexican heritage with students.
