WCPO: Protests spark COVID-19 concerns
UC expert says lack of mask wearing in large gatherings will probably increase virus spread
Senu Apewokin, MD, of the UC College of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases was interviewed by WCPO-TV for a story on concerns about a spike in COVID-19 cases following the recent protests in several cities in the United States, including Cincinnati.

Dr. Apewokin said it is difficult to wear a mask while running or doing something physical.
"I think there will be times when people take off those masks, and that's why there is probably still going to be an increase in cases and transmission," he said.
